Started in 1989 by Henry E. Pedynowski, "Bird Toy Man" is backed by 13 years of industry experience. Henry's daughter's first pet parrot is the true founder. Henry was a woodworker for many years as a hobby and put his workshop to use designing and making playpens and toys for "Dusty" the conure. He began selling homemade products to local pet stores. When he retired, he focused his energy into" Bird Toy Man". Henry's daughter began breeding pet birds and her hundreds of birds became his advisory board and toy testers. In addition to making his own toys, Henry distributes several other lines of products. Established in 1992, Sandy's workshop is in Mount Joy Pennsylvania. Her products are designed to accommodate small to very large birds. Toy designs are made to be interesting for the birds. Sandy has 17 birds of her own, from lovebirds to macaws, she knows how difficult it is to keep them entertained. Taylormade's PVC play gyms, perches and toys are virtually indestructible. Only the highest quality materials and components are used. Sandy travels yearly to about 25 bird marts and shows from upstate New York to North Carolina. Sandy's favorite part of participating at these bird events is meeting the bird owners who are searching for new items to keep their feathered friends happy and entertained.
