The organizers of two great shows, the very popular Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo and the mammoth pet extravaganza of the Long Island Pet Expo, have joined forces to establish Family Pet Expo, LLC and bring the "TRI-STATE PET EXPO" to New Jersey. Castle Enterprises, the leader in the northeast of pet bird event productions, has teamed up with Family Pet Expo to bring you "PARROTVILLE" the avian feature attraction at the "Tri-State Pet Expo".
"PARROTVILLE" is a complete Bird Show tucked within the all Pet Expo and just what you have come to expect from a Castle Enterprises production and affair. Bird Lovers will delight in this special area designed just for their interest and it will catch the eye of all pet bird owners and enthusiasts. Planned activities include: Informational Discussions, Trick Macaw Shows, Cockatiel/Lovebird/Parrot Exhibitions and of course a Vendor Marketplace with pet bird related goods and pet birds for purchase. As a pet bird vendor, you will want to seize the opportunity to participate in "Parrotville"
The event will take place at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center, at Raritan Center, 97 Sunfield Avenue in Edison NJ 08837. Conveniently located in the tri-state area with easy access and in the heart of one of the largest and most affluent buying populations in New Jersey.
The Family Pet Expo's marketing program is very effective. The track record of these two promoters speaks for itself. Year after year, their shows attract tens of thousands of pet lovers. The promotional advertising campaign includes using Print Ads, Radio Broadcasts, Direct Mail, TV Commercials and more than 300,000 Discount Ticket opportunities at local McDonalds, Pet Stores, Veterinarian Clinics, Schools, Supermarkets, etc.
Please Note: New Jersey has specific requirements when it comes to bird sales. Birds sold and/or transferred must be properly marked with either a band or microchip. Birds bred in NJ must be closed banded or microchipped. Birds brought in from out of state may be open banded. The only caged birds exempt are: Canaries, Budgerigars, Cockatiels, Zebra and Society Finches. Additionally, be aware there are several birds that may not be sold or possessed in NJ, they are: the Patagonian Conure, Ring-Neck Parrot, Monk (Quaker) Parrot, Mustached Parrot, Plum Headed Parrot and all others in the Psittacula genus. Also, a permit is required to sell all but exempt species (permit fee is $100). Upon request we will forward you a permit application and additional information from the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife.
Vendors, secure your exhibit space(s) now as they are limited and on a first come first paid basis. You can reserve your space(s) by paying a deposit of half down and paying the final installment by September 26. A special intro price on space is being offered until September 26 too (or while space last), save up to $50.00 on space (see vendor application for pricing). Payment for Vendor Space mailed on or after October 10, 2003 must be made with cash, money order or certified check. We also accept PayPal for those that would like to use this convent service or if you wish to pay by credit card (add a 3% handling fee when using PayPal).
