On Saturday October 29th we invite you to join us in Lancaster PA, at the Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center at 2300 Lincoln Highway East (Route 30) for Castle Enterprises' Fall Pet Bird Market.
A variety of Pet Birds will be for sale along with supplies for all your pet bird needs. Many hard to find items and pet bird related gifts can be purchased at reasonable prices. Talk directly with area bird breeders and buy from some of the favorites.
Other activities included in the Pet Bird Market's General Admission Fee of $6.00 are; Parrot University Classes and a Trick Training Workshop. You will also receive a Door Prize Chance with your paid admission. Event Hours are 9:00AM till 4:00PM.
Parrot University Classes are 50 minutes in length and will begin at 10:30AM and 2:00PM. Classes are taught by a team of instructors who collectively have hundreds of years of experience caring for exotic birds. Classes include the opportunity for up close interaction with birds and a question and answer period. All attendees will receive Parrot University Diplomas. Curriculum for the 10:30 class is "Thinking About Getting a Parrot" (covers all aspects of parrot ownership) and the 2:00PM class will be "Species Spotlight" (an overview of the popular species pros and cons).
The Trick Training Workshop is 60 minutes in length and will begin at 12:00Noon. The workshop consists of a powerpoint presentation followed by a film of a red bellied parrot being taught and preforming the tricks it has learned. The red bellied parrot will also be asked to do the tricks "live" for the audience. Also a untrained bird will be used to help show the audience the process so they themselves can train their birds at home.
