"Birdman Dave" Dave Gulick's high flying entertaining educational shows are an adventure for audiences of all ages. This former teacher, has been performing in the Eastern US for the past nineteen years and has entertained and educated over half a million people. Past performances include thousands of schools and libraries as well as international festivals, YMCA's, art councils, scout troops, military bases, churches and museums. Dave has also written a children's picture and story book, a true story of the life of Belle his macaw. |
Birdman Dave's manner and enthusiasm coupled with his born teaching abilities produces one entertaining and educational show.
His "Amazon Rainforest" and "A Bird's Tale" shows included Belle, a performing Greenwing Macaw and Christopher Columbus, a Barred Owl (Hoot Owl). The delight of Belle's antics and the mesmerizing charm of Christopher Columbus, Dave's storytelling and demonstrations, audience participation, all comes together in each 45 minute adventure through the most diverse ecosystem of the world (the Amazon Rainforest) and the discovery of the wonder, intelligence, feelings and thoughts of birds (in A Bird's Tale) which is enjoyed by all.
The "Amazon Rainforest" Shows are tentatively scheduled for 10:00 AM & 1:30 PM.
The "A Bird's Tale" Show is tentatively scheduled for 11:15 AM.
Dave Gulick's soft cover children's picture and story book (a true story) is $11.00 and Donna Gulick's coloring and activity book (a fiction) is $6.00. Both are about Belle their greenwing macaw. The books will be available for sale following all Birdman Dave's performances (with a portion of the sale going to the preservation of the Rainforest and other bird habitats worldwide). Arranged in an informal and casual setting they include a Bird Toy Lesson and Workshop, a chat on Bird Care, Maintenance, Breeding and Handfeeding Demo and a lecture on Holistic/Homeopathic Health.
