The Wilson Parrot Foundation provides education through public appearances at schools, daycare centers, nursing and retirement homes, fire and police functions a well as social events.
H. Brian Wilson, Founder of the Wilson Parrot Foundation and his trained Parrots, which will assist Brian, will Education Children and Adults in Fire, Gun and Vehicular Safety. Humor, entertainment and information blend with the exotic parrots to create an unforgettable learning experience.
Presentations will take place on stage and after each performance Brian will offer photo and handling opportunities with the tame parrots.
Pet Bird Show to be Held!

This "just for fun" competition is not for the seasoned parrot exhibitor but truly for the pet enthusiast. Judging will be based primarily on the "Pet" traits of birds: personality, antics, talking, tameness, etc., as well as the condition and overall health will be taken into consideration. Birds will not be removed from their cage at anytime or handled by the judge during the judging process.
The show judge is Kelly Williams from Pottstown Pennsylvania. During the past 20 years Kelly has kept a variety of pet birds and is knowledgeable on many species of parrots and other birds. She has also been the PA State Coordinator for the American Federation of Aviculture for five years and is active in several other avian organizations. Her outgoing personality and charm will surely add to the day's competition making for a fun time for all.
The competition begins at 1:00 PM and will conclude by 4:00 PM. Birds must be registered and checked in by 12 Noon show day and must be checked out immediately following the judging. There is no fee to participate in the show and even better, bird exhibitors receive a discount on admission to the Bird Fest (a $3.00 savings). Birds must be entered in a "cleaned" cage with food and water. Winning entries will receive a ribbon and the best entries in show will win rosette awards. Pre-registration is requested, not required. Entries will also be accepted the morning of the show.
