1.

Exhibitors should check in at the Division Secretaries Table to Register; acquire Entry Form and Cage Tags; a PA Dept. of Ag. Form; and a Participation Waiver.

2.

Only one bird per cage can be entered.

3.

All entries must be caged so that there is no hazard to the health or safety of the bird or of other exhibits. An entry will be refused if Castle Enterprises feels it poses any danger. Marks or decorations are not allowed on or in cages. No names are permitted on or in exhibits until judging is over.

4.

Use of show boxes is encouraged, but not required. Birds may be exhibited in a clean, appropriately sized cage with a perch and water container. Extraneous feed containers and toys should be removed.

5.

Entries in Show Boxes must have a seed/pellet mixture covering the floor. A seed/pellet mixture covering the floor is also suggested for entries in cages.

6.

All birds must be the property of the exhibitor and must have been the property of the exhibitor and in their possession for at least 60 days prior to the show.

7.

The ALBS rules prevail for the entries and exhibitors.

8.

Fill in show tags and tie on to lower left hand corner of cage, and do not staple or bend. Complete entry form listing sections and classes in numerical order on the entry form.

9.

Turn all the Forms in to the Show Secretary and give your birds to the Show Steward. Keep a copy of the entry form for yourself (this will be used to retrieve birds after the show). Entries will not be accepted without all forms being completed and signed.

10.

Registration ends at 9:00 AM. No entries will be accepted after that time without authorization of Castle Enterprises. All entries must be registered and benched before judging begins.

11.

Castle Enterprises reserves the right to remove any bird showing any sign of illness.

12.

Handling or moving cages before judging is completed, except by the show stewards, is prohibited without authorization of Castle Enterprises.

13.

Entries may not be checked out until judging is completed and Castle Enterprises has declared the show over.

14.

Exhibitors shall remain in specified viewing areas during judging and shall not distract the judge.

15.

Questions or problems arising on the floor should be referred to the Castle Enterprises.

16.

If ownership of a bird is made evident to the judge, that bird will be disqualified and all awards forfeited.

17.

A bird entered in the incorrect class, in the judges’ opinion, will be transferred to the correct class if possible. If the correct class has been judged, the entry may be disqualified.

18.

Judge’s decisions are final. A judge is not required to award a prize if the judge feels an entry does not qualify.

19.

Objections regarding the judging must be made in writing to Castle Enterprises at the conclusion of judging. A deposit of $25.00 must accompany the protest. If the grievance is considered justified, the deposit may be refunded.

20.

When removing your entries, please bring your copy of the entry form to the Steward so your birds may be checked out.

21.

While every effort will be made to ensure the safety of exhibits, Castle Enterprises shall not be responsible for any damage or loss.

22.

Castle Enterprises reserves the right to amend these rules and render any decisions necessary for the smooth running of the Show.
