Visitors will be welcomed to Parrotville by a grand entrance way made up of a large flight cage containing exotic parrots and accented by tropical plants.

Dawn Lam of Feathered Angels will be providing the Parrots for the entrance flight cage. Dawn is well known in the south central PA avian community for her love of birds. This is made evident by the fact her "avian family" contains mostly adopted and rescued birds. The flight cage will be filled with a Greenwing Macaw, a Blue and Gold Macaw, a Scarlett Macaw and a Military Macaw.

The Kids Area is for the entertainment of the up and coming young pet bird enthusiast. There will be special children's birdie activities including an exciting birdie craft project, many educational parrot coloring sheets and more. Fun activities all with a pet bird theme... There is
no charge for children to participate in this special Kids Area. Children activities will be available during all hours of the weekend long event (or while supplies last). Castle Enterprises/PetBirdShows.com is pleased to provide this "free" entertainment for the children visiting Parrotville.

The Arcadia Bird Sanctuary & Educational Center will be sponsoring the "Pet Bird Information" area in Parrotville. The sanctuary is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and health of exotic birds. They provide parrot rescue services and are a bird sanctuary for all species of companion birds. They believe parrot education is the key to reducing the number of birds in need. The center conducts presentations and seminars to teach people about parrots. Check the Schedule for when a program is being conducted in Parrotville.

Many of the sanctuary's birds will be in this special area of Parrotville. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions about them and pet birds in general. If your interested in getting a bird for your household, they can help you make an intelligent choice about what kind of bird to choose and provide the information you need to learn the proper care and treatment of a bird.

We are exited to announce a great new activity to our weekend lineup, a BIRD TOY WORKSHOP! We have no doubt that this will be a very popular area in Parrotville.

The workshop will consist of numerous different kinds of toy packets. These toy packets range from size for small birds to large Parrots and in many styles and types. The packets contain all the parts for the making of that size and type of toy. You can select as many packets of toy parts as you wish and sit and put the toys together. This is a fun way for the whole family to create their very own toys for their special feather friends awaiting them at home... A nominal fee will be charged for the packets with a portion of the fee benefiting the Wings of Hope Bird Rescue and Sanctuary.

Wings of Hope will be manning the area and will be glad to answers any of your questions or help anyone in need of assistant. They will also conduct a discussion, twice a day, about the importance of selecting safe toys for your birds. Many bird toys in today's market are not necessary appropriate and in some cases can be deadly. Learn to provide only the best toys for your birds with the help of Wings of Hope...

The Toy Workshop is brought to you by www.BirdieBitsnBites.com "Enhancing the life of your pet bird..."
